Iris Gold
I have been working with singer Iris Gold for the last three years. Together we have carefully curated and created a style, that reflects and conveys Iris’ brand, as the powerful, strong, and energetic performer she is. Often clad in a colorful power suit, she commands the stage from start to finish.
However, for this series of portraits for the motherhood online universe, To The Moon, Honey, we wanted to show another side of Iris. The intimate pictures capture Iris and her son, in her grandmother’s home, where she spent a lot of her childhood. Dressed down and relaxed, the pictures create a narrative around the woman behind the artist, who is both strong, vulnerable, and playful. With nods to her hip hop roots and eclectic personality, the series paints an authentic but still on-brand representation of Iris, but with a much more personal atmosphere.
As I continue to collaborate with Iris, sourcing inspiration, new designers, and trends have become the essence of evolving her style while always keeping it recognizable and true to her personality and brand.
